Asankya provides technology that optimizes IP traffic on the network, thus offering a more seamless experience with video conferencing, streaming media, cloud-based apps and other delay-sensitive applications.
 
The company’s flagship technology is Parallel Networking, developed at Georgia Tech with funding from the National Science Foundation.
 
Asankya was founded in 2004, with investment backing from Veritas Venture Partners, In-Q-Tel and Seraph Group.

Note: Asankya was acquired by EMC in 2011.
