James Lesslie joined Engineered Floors in November 2011, and in his 12 years with the company, he has worked in a variety of roles. While still maintaining his corporate role as executive vice president of Engineered Floors, in March of 2018, he was appointed president of the Commercial Division.
In August of 2022, Lesslie was appointed company president and chief operating officer, overseeing the commercial and residential segments of the business.
Lesslie has over 30 years of industry experience in almost all aspects of the carpet industry, including operations, product development, sales, and marketing. He holds degrees in both chemical engineering and chemistry from the University of South Carolina.
