Paul S. Amos II
Mr. Amos joined the JBA Capital team in September 2017. Mr. Amos is involved in all aspects of the business from deal sourcing, transactions and portfolio company oversight with a focus on oversight of future and existing portfolio companies.
Prior to joining the company, Mr. Amos served as president of Aflac, the largest provider of supplemental insurance in the United States and the leading provider of medical and cancer insurance in Japan. He brings JBA Capital more than 15 years of leadership experience in the insurance and financial services industry. Mr. Amos oversaw corporate strategy for Aflac Inc., Aflac’s corporate venture capital operation and Aflac Japan, which is Aflac’s largest earnings contributor.
Mr. Amos serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Turner School of Business at Columbus State University. He is also a member of the Georgia Research Alliance Board of Trustees, the COLE Leadership Circle of Duke’s Fuqua/Coach K. Center on Leadership & Ethics, the Advisory Board of BeWell and the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
Mr. Amos earned a BA in economics from Duke University and an MBA from Emory University. He also holds a JD from Tulane University.
