T. Rogers Wade

Georgia Public Policy Foundation
Rogers Wade was President and CEO of the Georgia Public Policy Foundation from 1997 through 2009. Though he is now retired, he continues to serve on the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, which he currently chairs.
Before joining the Foundation, Wade was a partner in the public affairs firm of Edington, Wade and Associates. In 1980, he opened the company’s Atlanta offices.
From 1973 to 1980, he served as chief of staff to U.S. Senator Herman E. Talmadge in Washington, DC.
He is a member of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia and serves currently on the boards of the Georgia Trucking Association, the U.S.O., the Georgia Chamber of Commerce and the McPherson Implementing Local Redevelopment Authority. He is a Trustee of the Richard B. Russell Foundation and is Chairman of the Governor’s Defense Initiative.
He received the Blue Key Service Award from the UGA Chapter of the Blue Key National Honor Society and was the 2011 recipient of the Public Policy Foundation’s Freedom Award.
