Martin L. Flanagan
President and CEO
Martin Flanagan has served in his current role at Invesco since 2005. He is also a Trustee and Vice-Chairman of the Invesco Funds.
Prior to joining Invesco, Flanagan was president and co-chief executive officer at Franklin Resources, where he’d worked since Franklin’s acquisition of Templeton, Galbraith & Hansberger, Ltd. in 1992. He had joined Templeton in 1983.
Flanagan earned a BA and BBA from Southern Methodist University. He is a CFA charterholder and a certified public accountant.
He serves on the board of governors for the Investment Company Institute and as a member of the executive board of SMU’s Cox School of Business. He is involved in a number of civic activities in Atlanta.
