Quest Renewables is commercializing products that were created as part of Georgia Tech’s participation in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Sunshot program, a multimillion-dollar initiative designed to take the solar industry to the next level.
Georgia Tech’s researchers focused on developing photovoltaic racking solutions, which are used to mount solar panels on roofs, building exteriors, carports, and other structures. Quest’s racking solutions are straightforward to install and need fewer tools, hardware connections and on-site adjustments, thus making installation more efficient and affordable.
These cost-effective products help the solar industry compete with conventional energy sources. Quest’s products are also manufactured in the U.S. with flexible delivery to facilitate easy project planning.
