DHX builds more powerful machines in aerospace, construction equipment and personal recreational vehicles such as ATVs, golf carts and personal water craft. The company’s experimental technology offers a four-fold increase in steady state power density and a ten-fold increase in peak power density.
DHX’s machines draw on a proprietary, patented, direct-winding, heat exchange cooling technology, which significantly increases the efficiency of excess heat removal. This allows the machine to operate with greater torque density and energy output.
The company’s high-output electric machines are also ultra-compact: Its 2016 prototype is about the size of a soup can.
