Aviabiotic creates probiotics for integrated poultry companies.
The probiotic, genetically engineered for thermostability, elimination of antibiotic resistance and dependence on corn sugar (to protect the environment from recombinant DNA after it has left the chicken), will produce eicosapentanoic acid, a heart-healthy, Omega-3 fatty acid.
Genetically engineered Bacillus subtilisspores in the chicken’s small intestine convert conventional poultry feed into helpful Omega-3 fatty acids.
While currently in the concept stage, Aviabiotic has the tools to create a functional prototype for further testing purposes.
