The Optical Microscopy Core provides state-of-the-art microscopy tools to Georgia Tech researchers and surrounding academic and industry community.

Expert training and consultation is available from the core staff on all of our systems including point scanning confocal, spinning disk confocal, 2-photon, super-resolution, lightsheet, darkfield and widefield systems. Imaging plate reader and a laser capture micro-dissection system are available in the Biomolecular Analysis Core. For more information, please contact our core lab staff.

Microscopes in the Petit Biotechnology building and the Krone Engineered Biosystems Building are scheduled using the Shared User Management System (SUMS). Users requesting access are encouraged to register through the SUMS website.
