Nikki Stephenson joined Regions Bank in 2008 and serves as Head of Commercial Banking. Regions is a leading regional financial institution serving people and businesses in vibrant and dynamic markets throughout the South, Midwest, and Texas and is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama.
The Commercial Bank provides traditional lending, depository and treasury management services, as well as other capital markets and investment banking solutions to customers that range from small businesses to middle market companies across Regions’ footprint. In addition, the Commercial Bank includes Ascentium Capital, a small business equipment finance company that Regions acquired in 2020.
Prior to assuming her current role in 2024, Nikki served as the Head of Credit Products which focuses on the delivery of credit solutions to Regions’ corporate, commercial and real estate clients. Throughout Stephenson’s career at Regions she has held leadership roles in Corporate Development, and the Corporate & Leverage Finance Group within Regions Capital Markets division. Before joining Regions, she served in SunTrust Robinson Humphrey's loan syndications group.
Nikki earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Miami. She currently serves on the board of The Grady Foundation, as well as The Georgia Research Alliance.
