Amanda Schroeder, MBA

Senior Vice President, External Engagement

GRA’s ongoing engagement with a wide range of constituents is crucial to the success of the Alliance. Amanda Schroeder leads that engagement, which encompasses branding, communication, fundraising and community partnerships. Her role involves both strategy and implementation, leading to strong relationships that propel GRA’s growth and development over time.

Since joining GRA in 2013, Amanda has spearheaded branding, communication strategy and outreach. As GRA’s profile expanded, so did Amanda's role. She took on additional responsibilities in fundraising, program management and relationship building.

With 20-plus years in marketing, Amanda understands the value of communications and engagement in advancing the aims of an organization, particularly entrepreneurial enterprises. Amanda started out in the world of startup companies at the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) housed at Georgia Tech, working alongside entrepreneurs and helping to develop marketing strategies for several ATDC companies. She then went on to help AutoTrader.com, a part of Cox Automotive, become a national brand and helped lead the marketing efforts for two successfully acquired startups.

Amanda earned an MBA with emphasis on strategy, marketing and business development from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, as well as a BBA in marketing from Georgia State University.
